At Vincent Clad Metals, we offer cladding services that can join dissimilar or malleable metals to a wide variety of materials. Through the use of well-developed cladding processes, we are able to respond to customers’ needs better than similar industrial cladding firms that concentrate on bulk specialization and contract orders. We deliver responsive lead times, with both large and small volume capacities as well as prototyping, and can also provide client material warehousing.
At Vincent Clad Metals, we are capable of bonding generally all combinations of malleable metals in our cold bonding process. This includes precious metals to base metals as well as base metals to base metals. Every quality cladding process relies on pre-cleaning materials to ensure proper bonding; our processes utilize a very effective brush cleaning method as a pre-cladding operation.
Our finished clad metal composites can range from 0.005 in to 0.110 in and can be comprised of 2 to 5 layers of materials. These packages can be provided in either an in-lay or overlay configuration. In conjunction with these clad configurations we can also provide an electron beam welded and or skived combinations in partnership with our associates.
To facilitate product qualification, we employ a full time metallurgist in our quality department, and can easily accommodate custom test procedures in addition to our own stringent quality standards. We also offer a series of value-added services, such as design consulting, prototyping, rolling, skiving, slitting, warehousing, and others. We generally hold lead times of seven to eight weeks on average, with additional rush service available for short or emergency time windows. In addition, for pre-arranged warehouse items we will provide next day shipment.
